How to keep your pieces looking fresh
At Icetruck, we only use high-quality materials and the most advanced PVD coating technology. That said, even jewelry made from gold plating, 925 silver or solid gold can show normal signs of wear over time.

Care Tips for Your Daily Routine
Here’s how to protect your pieces from tarnishing or premature wear:
-
Store jewelry in a clean and well-ventilated place
-
Wipe it down with a soft cloth after wearing
-
Always take it off before going to bed
-
Avoid excessive sweating
-
Keep away from hand creams, sanitizers or perfume
-
Don’t shower, bathe or wash your hands while wearing jewelry

Let all creams fully absorb before putting on jewelry
🧼 Cleaning Tip: For gentle care, we recommend our Icetruck Jewelry Cleaning Kit – specially made for gold-plated and silver pieces.
Avoiding Oxidation
Good to know:
Yellow and rose gold contain small amounts of copper – it’s essential for the coloring. In rare cases, very acidic or sensitive skin can cause slight greenish discoloration. Certain products like hand creams or lotions can also trigger oxidation – even with the finest jewelry.

Sensitive to Metal?
If you’ve had skin reactions to jewelry before, keep this in mind:
-
Avoid copper- or brass-based jewelry
-
Opt for stainless steel, 925 silver or solid gold (custom orders available)
Our 925 sterling silver contains 92.5% pure silver & 7.5% copper – a great option for sensitive skin.
A Note on Responsibility
We cannot take responsibility for any skin reactions. Please be aware of your individual sensitivities and potential allergies – every skin type is different.
