Step 1: Prepare the Cleaning Solution
Add a couple sprays of our cleaning solution into a bowl of clean lukewarm water. Stir gently to create a soapy solution. This mixture will help loosen any dirt and grime trapped in the crevices of your jewelry without causing damage.
Step 2: Soak the Jewelry
Place your jewelry in the soapy solution and let it soak for about 10-20 minutes. This soaking period allows the solution to penetrate and break down any accumulated debris on your jewelry, making it easier to clean.
Step 3: Gently Brush the Jewelry
After soaking, use our soft-bristled brush to gently scrub the jewelry. Pay special attention to the stones and its settings, as these areas are prone to trapping dirt. Use light, circular motions to avoid scratching the metal or loosening the stones.
Step 4: Rinse Thoroughly
Once you've brushed your jewelry, rinse it thoroughly under cold running water. Ensure all residues are removed, as any remaining solution can leave a film on the stones, dulling their sparkle. Hold the piece securely to prevent it from accidentally dropping.
Step 5: Dry with a Lint-Free Cloth
Pat the ring dry with a lint-free cloth. Avoid using paper towels or tissues, and instead, consider using a hairdryer or soft cloth, as paper products can leave fibers behind. Gently blot the jewelry until it's completely dry, ensuring no moisture remains in the settings, under the stones or any mechanisms.
Step 6: Inspect and Polish
Finally, inspect your piced under good lighting for clarity to ensure it's clean and sparkling. If necessary, use our jewelry polishing cloth to give the metal base an extra shine. Regular inspection and polishing will keep your jewelry looking its best and help you spot any potential issues early.
